Update Go Version

Go (Golang) 1.13 was released today, so I’m going to show you how to update to the newest version Go (Golang) on Linux. This assumes you have Go (Golang) installed.

Uninstall the Existing Version of Go (Golang)

To uninstall run this command:

Download the New Version of Go (Golang)

Go to the downloads page and download the binary release suitable for your system.

Extract the archive file

Here we extract and copy the archive file:
